within 30
days of the show, stating that the cat/kitten is current on its
inoculations including rabies.
A state official
may ask to see this certificate so please be prepared.

SHOW HALL
All
cats/kittens must enter and exit the show hall in carriers.
Reasonable care will be take to protect all entries and personal property
but neither Wichita Cat Fancy or its members nor the Cotillion Ballroom shall be liable
for property damage or loss of personal property left overnight in the show
hall. No night watchman is on duty and cats cannot be left in the show hall
overnight. Hall is heated & air conditioned as needed. "People" food is
available in the show hall. Show hall directions will be included with your
confirmation or check our on-line information. Smoking is only permitted
outside the show hall!
SHOW HOURS
Published show hours are
Saturday 10:00 AM to 5:00 p.m. & Sunday 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Exhibitor
check-in is from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. Entries not checked in
by 9:30 a.m. will be marked absent. Vendors are welcome to setup Friday
February 2nd from 12:00 p.m. until 5:30 p.m.
CAGES
Half cages are 21" X 21" X 21". Full cages are 21" X 21" X
45". Security cages are permitted. Provide your own curtains and top and
bottom cover-ups.
Litter is provided
but please bring your own litter tray as well as food and water bowls. No
kittens under 4 months of age are allowed in the show hall. A CFA Litter
Registration must be presented to the show management upon request or
kitten(s) must be removed from the show hall immediately. No cats or kittens
permitted in carriers under the benching tables. No un-entered cats or
kittens may be in the show hall without permission. There may be a maximum
of two (2) kittens or one (1) cat per single (1/2) cage.
JUDGES
Wichita Cat Fancy reserves the right to add judges not named in the show
announcement to judge non-championship and non-premiership rings.
AWARDS
Ribbons and rosettes are
awarded according to CFA Show Rules. Permanent ribbons are used and fabric
ribbons are available for those receiving awards. All championship,
premiership, and registered kittens are scored for CFA national and regional
awards.
SHOW CATALOG
A Show Catalog is included
with the first entry. Additional catalogs can be purchased at check-in if
available. Marked catalogs are not available for this show.
CLERKS
In order to run an efficient show, we are contracting for
chief ring clerks. Please contact the Entry Clerk if you are interested in
clerking. Clerks are paid in accordance with the CFA Show Rules based on
their clerking program status.
ENTRIES AND FEES
Make checks
payable to Wichita Cat Fancy, Inc. Each entry must
be on a signed CFA Entry Blank or exact facsimile. No adult, provisional, or
miscellaneous entry will be accepted without a proper CFA registration
number. If entry confirmation is not received within 15 days, contact the
entry clerk. Please no calls after 9 p.m. Mountain Time. For entry
clarification, the entry clerk will call collect.
Fees must accompany entries.
Postdated checks will not be accepted.
No refunds will be made for
failure to bench. This CFA licensed show is held in accordance with the
CFA Show Rules
. All CFA Show Rules will be strictly enforced. For a copy of the current

BENCHING
NON-VETTED SHOW!
Any entry found with
fleas, ear mites, fungus, or signs of illness will not be admitted. Any cat
from a house or cattery where there has been feline distemper (panleukopenia)
within 21 days prior to the opening date of the show is ineligible for
entry, and, should entry have been made prior to the onset of any such
condition, such entry is ineligible for admission into the show room. It is
strongly advised that all cats or kittens entered in the show be inoculated
by a licensed veterinarian against feline enteritis, feline rhinotracheitis,
calici viruses and rabies. It is also strongly recommended that cats and
kittens be tested and found negative for FeLV before entry. All claws of all
cats must be clipped prior to benching. DECLAWED CATS ARE INELIGIBLE FOR
ENTRY. Only one benching request per exhibitor will be honored. WCF will do
its best to honor your benching request but does not guarantee that all
requests will be satisfied.

Household Pets
Household pets will be
judged in all eight rings. Entries are limited to kittens at least 4 months
old and altered cats 8 months and older. All household pets must be
pre-entered and CANNOT BE DECLAWED.
Sale
of Cats and Kittens
Cats and kittens can be
sold by exhibitors at this show. Sellers should have all paperwork with
them, including vaccination records, etc.
