Where is Seward, Nebraska?
Seward is located 20 miles west of Lincoln and 20 miles east of
York, NE and about 5 miles north off I-80.
Directions to Show Hall:
From I-80 take the Seward exit (379). Go north on
state highway 15 about six miles. At the junction of state highways 15 and 34,
turn left (west) and go approximately six block. At 14th Street, turn right
(north) and the show hall is about 6 blocks. 14th Street takes you right to the
front of the show hall.
Show Hours:
Exhibitor Check-in 7:30 - 8:30 am
Judging Saturday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm or until finals are completed
Advertised Hours 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
There is NO SMOKING in the show hall.
Benching:
This is a non-vetted show. It is strongly advised that a licensed veterinarian
inoculate all cats and kittens entered or present in the show hall against
feline enteritis, rhinotracheitis, calici virus, and rabies. It is also
recommended that all cats and kittens be tested for FeLV. All claws must be
clipped prior to benching. No kitten under 4 months of age will be allowed in
the show hall. Owners of very small kittens may be asked for show registration
papers.
Show Hall:
The show hall cooled/heated as needed. People food is available.
Reasonable care will be taken of cats and personal property; however, neither
Sandhills Cat Club nor Seward County Agricultural Society will be
liable for any loss or damage. Parent must supervise children at all times.

Judging:
Sandhills Cat Club reserves the right to add judges not named to judge
non-championship and non-premiership classes. All kittens, championship, and
premiership classes will be scored for CFA national and regional awards. Ribbons
will be awarded according to the
CFA Show Rules. Permanent flats will be used.
Ribbons will be available upon request.
CFA Show Rules will be enforced. To

Cages:
Cage size is 21"x21"x21". Litter will be provided; please bring your own litter
pans and food. Please bring cage curtains, towels, sheets, etc. to cover the
top, bottom, sides and back of your cage. One half cage is included with your
entry. If you wish to have a full cage, please request a double cage (cost is
$20.00).
Sales:
An exhibitor must own cats and kittens for sale. Minimum sales price is $100.00
and it is strongly recommended that all pet sales have a neuter/spay agreement.
Household Pets:
Household Pets (HHP) will be judged in all six rings. HHP entries over 8 months
of age must be neutered or spayed. Kittens between 4 and 8 months of age are not
required to be altered. HHP entries may not be declawed. If you need more
