The Sandhills Cat Club, a member club of The Cat Fanciers'
Association, Inc., is based in southeastern Nebraska. Named for the Sand
Hills region of mixed-grass prairie in north central Nebraska, the club boasts
members from the surrounding states as well as local cat fanciers. |

The
Nebraska Sand Hills were home to large herds of bison until the 1870's and are
among the most productive ranching areas of the world. The Sand Hills are part
of the main migratory path of the Sandhill crane which enjoy the wetland and
bogs found in the Sandhills.

Each fall, the Sandhills Cat Club holds a CFA licensed cat show in Seward which
is located between York and Lincoln just north of I-80
in south-eastern Nebraska. This site provides easy access to exhibitors from
surrounding states. Flights into Omaha and Lincoln are only a short drive from
Seward, making it a convenient and accessible show. |

The show hall is the Ag Pavilion at the Steward Country Fairgrounds.
Household pet owners are welcome to enter the show but pre-registration is
